Rain Boot Thoughts

So I have been loving my J.Crew wellies which I got last year. Bright pink, with olive green laces and similar green soles, very cute, and not over-the-top. However, I need some diversity as sometimes it rains and rains for days and they can't be used all the time. Esp when winter comes and the salt on the roads and sidewalks at school will ruin it all...

So I've been shopping around for some new boots. Less than $100. I don't need Hunter Wellingtons if I am buying them myself!!

Rainy Day!

Woke up this morning and it was a crazy 64 degrees outside! Gracious! Anyway, I bundled up and attempted to look as cute as possible...

In other news, school is going well. I really am in love with all of my classes, even with my awkwardly goofy teachers. I cannot imagine anything else to be spending my time doing, esp when it comes to ALL of the reading for my EVST class that I have been doing. I just cannot wait to go out and do things more actively in the field!!




The Activities Carnival was last night and I signed up for a bunch of groups. I am not running for office for anything - maybe next semester or next Fall... esp as I am just trying to meet people still. But it was a blast last night. I got to talk to a couple of groups of great ladies (who both love the color PINK) and of course Diva's salon was there trying to give me a whole bunch of random hair stuff... I need to book a massage and mani/pedi pronto! The nails are looking rough (but I am maintaining them as best as I can!!). I am hoping to maybe do a fashion column for the student newspaper and have signed up for a few other activities as well!

Anyway, time to study!

Weird...

You could hear crickets there has been so little activity on the blogging front today!

I am going to assume that everyone is enjoying the gorgeous weather we have here in Virginia, mid-60s, bright sun, and very little wind! Perfect day for a picnic, but PBF is ferrying to our new house and I am inside studying and trying to get work done before our phone and internet is cut off tomorrow!

Well, I haven't posted in a while, but that is only because my computer has been on the fritz! I have been having to attempt comments on my Followers blogs on my iTouch, which isn't easy but worth it! I am still here in the blogger world!!

In other news, we got 7.5" of snow here between Sunday and today! Wow!! Most snow we have had in AGES. Goodness gracious. PBF, who has been a VA resident since 2003, didn't even believe that this much snow was possible in Virginia. HA! We sure showed (snowed?) him, huh?
