Song of the Moment: "Sweet Disposition"

Currently, the song of the moment in my life is "Sweet Disposition" by The Temper Trap. It's been on a few TV ads, used as promos on TV for shows, and was on the 500 Days of Summer movie soundtrack.

It's one of those songs that represents things going on in my life right now. Repetitive, sure, but I like how the music builds in the background... Reminds me of some of the earlier songs by The Killers... when they first started playing in Vegas in 2002. I saw them at a show in early '03 and I was hooked by their sound (not looks, promise).

For me, this song hits me when I sit and think about the lyrics - like it playing when I am stuck in traffic. Makes me think about how I am finishing my education, how I am likely with the guy I am marrying and spending the rest of my life with, how different things were just 2 years ago - which still feels unsettling to me on occasion - with people I was seeing, etc... moving on and being this FAR moved on feels weird because it sometimes feels like I am rushing it because I am with 'an older man'. Whatever. This post is about a song I like, so I will drop the "deep stuff".
