Your personality is what makes you . So when it comes to what you wear, you should know your wardrobe personality. You maybe wondering what a wardrobe personality is? Let me tell you. A wardrobe personality is your branding, it what makes you different from everyone else. Its your own unique style that you are confident to carry off and others envy.
If that sound good to you but you have no idea what yours is, read on. There are five basic wardrobe personalities. Some of us, are a combination, of two of them. One of them will be the dominant one.
Lets have a look at what they are and some of the traits that go with them. From this you should be able to identify your own.
The first is the romantic wardrobe personality. This lady will love to be feminine, she will love the feel of clothes and be attracted to silks, suede. jersey and crepe. She will love colour and have pleasure wearing accessories. Her hair will often have soft curls and very natural. She may love patterns, lace and embroidery. She loves dressing up for an evening out, creating a feminine artistic look with a sophisticated air.

The Second one is the classic personality. This lady will have an effortless elegance, where quality is more important . She likes co-ordinated well cut separates. She appears expensive and classy. Her accessories are used to compliment her outfit, not the other way around.

The third one is the dramatic wardrobe personality. This category would include people like Madonna who like to be noticed. They don't mind standing out from the crowd and dress to be noticed. She loves to wear striking colours. Her wardrobe has an electric taste. One off items will be found in her wardrobe which are often described as "different". She will often have more shoes than she cares to count.

The fourth wardrobe personality is the natural lady. She has a relaxed easy going approach to her wardrobe with comfort being the top priority. She has little or no interest in fashion and likes her clothes to be low maintenance. Her wardrobe will have a lot of casual clothes, many from the high street or mail order. She will often be found with wash and go hairstyle that requires little attention.

The last but not least one is the Gamine. This lady will generally have a neat body and need small scale clothes to complement it. Her clothes will very often have a sporty theme, but also very co-ordinated. She will wear a casual natural hair style that she can run her fingers through and still look good. Her make up will tend to look fresh and natural.

The thing to remember is that there is no right, there is wrong, there is no good, there is no bad. Just be yourself and stick to the one thing that feels best for you. What most people do, is see different people around them and in the media who have different wardrobe personalities and because they look good it is tempting to copy them. The result is often a mix matched wardrobe that just does not work. Don't let this be you. Be your own person
